Personnel Training Mobility

STAFF TRAINING MOBILITY (STM) APPLICATION PROCESS

Who is Eligible?

Full-time/part-time administrative staff currently working at a university, and staff currently employed by a different institution but under contract at another higher education institution, apply for mobility at the institution where they actually work, not the institution where their position is held.

Since there is no contract between the university and staff employed at the university through service recruitment, these individuals are not eligible for personnel mobility. Administrative personnel who hold positions similar to those in the public sector, such as civil servants and/or administrative managers, are eligible to apply.

Field of Activity

Personnel training mobility is an activity that allows any personnel currently employed at a university to receive training in one of the program countries. Within the scope of this activity, individuals can receive various training programs to develop their skills in areas related to their current job.

Training can take place at a higher education institution, a non-governmental organization, a public institution, or a business. The company where the training will be held abroad may be a training center, research center, or another organization that meets the definition of a business.

Activity Duration

Because this is our first year in the Erasmus Program, the grant rate is quite low. Therefore, to ensure fair distribution of the budget, even though the training activity covers a longer period, the payment will be limited to a maximum of three days. The minimum number of days for the activity is two consecutive working days. Personnel training is a full-time activity, and grants are paid for the full-time training periods.

Grant Support

The grant provided to personnel participating in personnel training mobility is a supplementary measure and is not intended to fully cover the expenses of the period spent abroad.

After being selected for the Erasmus+ staff training mobility program, the participating personnel may change the institution specified on the application form to institutions in other countries. Two criteria have been determined for the change to be approved, and they are listed below.

  • The employee must have submitted their application without an acceptance letter.
  • The total budget of the employee's new institution may be up to €150 more than the total budget stated on the application form.

Placement List

The placement list will be published on the ABUN website within two weeks of the application deadline. No further information will be provided by phone or email beforehand. There is a 10-day objection period after the placement list is published. During this process, staff members must submit a petition to the Erasmus Coordinator. After objections are reviewed, the final list will be published in accordance with the application calendar.

Reserve List

Unplaced staff will be kept on the reserve list. In the event of any cancellations or additional funding from the National Agency, the staff member on the reserve list with the highest final score will be contacted.
