InnerWorld: Virtual Reality for Psychosocial Support (VRPS)
The InnerWorld: Virtual Reality for Psychosocial Support (VRPS) project aims to develop a virtual reality (VR)-based psychosocial support solution for youth displaced by war. In line with the principles of digital transformation and inclusiveness, the project is being implemented by 60 young people. It aims to provide personalized psychological support for young people and train 6 professionals in the use of VR.
Goals and Objectives:
- Develop and test an innovative VR-based psychosocial support tool
- Facilitate young people's access to mental health support by promoting digital transformation.
- Provide quality and personalized psychosocial support
- 60 displaced young people
- To train 6 professionals to provide psychosocial support through VR.
- To expand access to mental health services.
- To provide services to 60 young people by removing barriers such as language, cost, age, and geographic restrictions.
- To disseminate and ensure sustainability of project outcomes.
- To provide information about project outcomes to 45 organizations and mental health professionals.
- To create an online "User Guide"
Expected Results:
- Development and implementation of a VR-based psychosocial support system.
- 60 young people Improved mental health support for individuals.
- Training of 6 professionals in VR-assisted psychological counseling.
- 45 organizations and mental health professionals benefit from the project results.
- Publishing of a widely available User Guide.
