InnerWorld: Virtual Reality for Psychosocial Support (VRPS)
The InnerWorld: Virtual Reality for Psychosocial Support (VRPS) project aims to develop a virtual reality (VR)-based psychosocial support solution for young people displaced due to war. In line with the principles of digital transformation and inclusivity, the project seeks to provide customized psychological support for 60 young individuals and train 6 professionals in the use of VR for psychosocial support.
Aims and Objectives:
To develop and test an innovative VR-based psychosocial support tool
-To promote digital transformation and facilitate young people's access to mental health support.
To provide high-quality and personalized psychosocial support.
-To offer tailored support for 60 displaced young individuals.
-To train 6 professionals to provide psychosocial support through VR.
To expand access to mental health services.
-To provide services for 60 young people by removing barriers such as language, cost, age, and geographical restrictions.
Dissemination of project outputs and ensuring their sustainability.
-To provide information about the project outputs to 45 organizations and mental health professionals.
-To create an online 'User Manual'.
- Development and implementation of a VR-based psychosocial support system.
- Improved mental health support for 60 young people.
- Training of 6 professionals in VR-supported psychological counseling.
- 45 organizations and mental health professionals benefiting from the project outcomes.
