STAFF TEACHING MOBILITY (TSM) APPLICATION PROCESS
Who is Eligible?
Full-time/part-time academic staff (with at least a doctoral degree), permanent staff, or contract academic staff currently working at Ankara Science University (hereinafter referred to as ABU).
Staff currently employed at a different institution but currently working under contract at another higher education institution must apply for mobility at the institution where they are currently employed, not the institution where they hold their permanent position.
Personnel employed at ABU through service recruitment Since there is no contract between ABU and the university, these individuals cannot benefit from staff mobility.
Field of Activity
Staff teaching mobility is for individuals who are obligated to teach at ABU. This activity provides the opportunity for a staff member to teach students at a higher education institution with which we have an inter-institutional agreement in one of the program countries, or at a higher education institution with which we will ensure an agreement is signed at the end of the mobility. Conference participation cannot be supported as part of this activity.
Activity Duration
For the sake of fair budget distribution, it has been decided to limit the payment to a maximum of 3 days, even though the teaching activity covers a longer period. The minimum number of days required for the activity is two consecutive working days, and a minimum of eight hours of teaching is required.
Grant Support
The grant provided to academic staff participating in staff teaching mobility is a supplementary grant and is not intended to cover all expenses related to the semester abroad.

When calculating the participant's travel expenses, the National Agency's required “Distance Calculator”
( http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/tools/distance_en.htm9 ) will be used. After this calculation, the travel grant will be calculated using the table below for the km traveled between two points.
