1) Current Transcript
Students who have not yet achieved a GPA in their undergraduate program and students newly enrolled in a master's or doctoral program who have not yet achieved a GPA must submit their latest transcript showing enrollment in the 2022-2023 fall semester (even if it does not include a GPA). and must upload their transcripts from the department/program they most recently graduated from.
2) Foreign Language Certificate
No validity period will be required for language certificates. No exam results, certificates, diplomas, or placement tests other than those recognized as equivalent by the SYM will be accepted. Additionally, only the Erasmus Language Exam results administered by our university's Preparatory School will be considered. Please note that the preferred institutions (where you are accepted for an internship) may request documentation in a different language and level than yours in their application requirements.
APPLICATION CRITERIA
- Students registered full-time at ABUN (excluding undergraduate language preparation students)
- Those who have previously been selected for Erasmus but have not exercised their right for the relevant academic year and have not completed the cancellation procedure. (However, in accordance with National Agency rules, students who were selected in a previous selection period within the same education level but did not carry out their activity without a compelling reason will be deducted by -10 points for each activity not carried out despite being eligible.)
- Students who previously applied to the Erasmus program but were not selected
- Students who have benefited from the Erasmus program can become Erasmus students again with a grant at a different education level. However, in accordance with National Agency rules, in addition to academic achievement and foreign language score averages, students who have previously benefited from mobility within the scope of the Lifelong Learning Programme or Erasmus+ within the same education level will have their final grades deducted by 10 points for each previous activity (regardless of study or internship). The -10 point deduction for previous participation will not be applied to mobilities carried out during the previous education level. This applies if a student who has completed mobility re-applies for the same level of education.
- Dual Citizen Students who wish to perform mobility in the program country of which they are citizens will have a 10-point deduction applied to their final score.
- Students with disabilities must submit a Disability Health Board Report or a copy of their Turkish Republic ID card showing their condition. A +10 point bonus is applied if the Disabled Persons Identification Card issued by the Ministry of Family and Social Policies is presented at the time of application.
- Children of martyrs and veterans (According to Article 21 of the Anti-Terror Law No. 3713, dated 12/04/1991, children of public officials who were injured, disabled, killed, or killed in acts of terrorism while performing their duties at home or abroad, or while performing their duties even if their status has been terminated. Children of martyrs and veterans) During Erasmus mobility applications, an additional 15 points will be applied if the original and a photocopy of your Martyr/Veteran Family Card, issued by the Ministry of Family and Social Policies of the Republic of Turkey, are presented.
- Students who have been granted protection, care, or housing under Social Services Law No. 2828 will be prioritized with an additional 10 points. To achieve this, the student must obtain a copy of the Law No. 2828 from the Ministry of Family and Social Policies.Students must submit a written notice confirming that they have a protection, care, or shelter decision.
- +10 points are applied to students whose family is from an earthquake-affected area (provided that documentation is provided).
- Meeting the General Academic Grade Point Average requirement: A minimum of 2.20/4 for undergraduate students, and a minimum of 2.20/4 for graduate students. For students, a minimum score of 2.50/4 is required.
- Meeting the Foreign Language Grade requirement: The minimum score for application is 70/100 (B2).
- Selected for mobility but not participating in mobility without submitting a waiver within the specified period -10 points (within 10 days of the announcement of the acceptance list)
- Applying for two mobility types (study and internship) simultaneously (reductions will be applied to the mobility type chosen by the student) -10 points
- For mobility For selected students: Unexcused absence from meetings/trainings organized by the higher education institution related to mobility (applies if the student re-applies to Erasmus) -5 points.
- Declared intention to take the language exam but failed to attend without an excuse (applies if the student re-applies to Erasmus) -5 points.

Applications will be accepted in October and March of each academic year. Detailed information on how to apply will be provided via an announcement on the website.
