1. ÖSYM SCHOLARSHIP
It is a scholarship given to students who enroll with a "scholarship" in the programs specified in the OSYM Higher Education Programs and Quotas Guides, within the quota and conditions specified in the programs that will accept "scholarship" students.
The scholarship and discount in question are non-refundable and are applied as 100% or 75%, 50% or 25% of the entire tuition fee. It does not impose any additional financial burden on the student.
Among the undergraduate students who are placed in undergraduate programs within the scholarship quotas according to YKS results, students who will study in the Foreign Language Preparatory Program are exempt from tuition fees for 16 semesters, including the Preparatory Program period, and students who directly start the undergraduate program or are enrolled in departments that provide Turkish education are exempt from tuition fees at scholarship rates for 14 semesters, without any course or success conditions.
The scholarships of students who enroll in the undergraduate program with a scholarship and then change departments by transferring within the University continue at the rate of the scholarship they signed up for.
2. DGS SCHOLARSHIP
Students who are placed in undergraduate programs with 100% scholarship or 75%, 50% and 25% discounted quotas according to DGS results, students who will receive English preparatory education, and students who start the undergraduate program directly during the English preparatory education, are exempt from tuition fees at scholarship or discount rates for a maximum of 14 semesters, without any course or success conditions.
Scholarship or discount periods are calculated starting from the semester in which the students are transferred (For example, the legal scholarship or discount period of a student who is transferred to the 3rd semester is 12 semesters for those who start directly to the undergraduate program, and the preparatory education period is included for students who will receive English preparatory education).
3. PREFERENCE SCHOLARSHIP
According to YKS results, students who choose our university in the top ranks (top 5, etc.) can be given a discount at a rate determined by the ranking determined by the Board of Trustees every year.
4. ACADEMIC SUCCESS SCHOLARSHIP
It is a scholarship given based on university undergraduate and associate degree academic success. It is given to all students who meet the criteria. Application is not required.
Academic Success Scholarship criteria are determined every year by the Board of Trustees upon the recommendation of the senate.
Academic Success Scholarships are available to full-fee students who are accepted to university associate and undergraduate programs with YKS and students with 50%, Horizontal Transfer and Vertical Transfer Scholarships.
The average of all courses taken in the last academic year in the program in which the student is registered;
Academic Success Scholarship; Associate/undergraduate registered students can apply. However, students with full scholarships, English preparatory class students, associate and undergraduate students, summer school students and students who have completed the normal education period of the program do not benefit from the scholarship.
The average of all courses taken by irregular students at the end of the spring semester at the end of the year in which they complete their 3rd semester is taken into account.
For Double Major students, only major course load and grade point averages are taken into account in the Academic Success Scholarship.
Academic Success Scholarship is given to students who have not received disciplinary punishment.
Success Scholarship is only valid for one academic year in the academic year in which the student receives the scholarship.
The student who receives the Academic Success Scholarship has the right to receive a scholarship during the normal education period in the following years if he/she meets the conditions determined by the Board of Trustees.
Academic Success scholarship does not cover summer school.
Academic Achievement Scholarship is given if the student continues his/her education at the university.
Scholarships will not be awarded in cases of temporary separation, interruption of education, disenrollment, and horizontal transfer within or between institutions during the academic year in which the scholarship will be paid.
5. ATHLETE SCHOLARSHIP
It is a scholarship given to national athletes in branches determined by the Turkish University Sports Federations.
Students who want to benefit from the Sports Scholarship must have all the national and international studies, achievements, degrees, etc. in their branches. They submit the information and documents to the Sports Coordination Office in a file.
The award of a Sports Scholarship depends on the student's participation in the University team in his/her branch and representing the University, with priority given to the student's educational success.
In order for the scholarship to continue, the student must continue to participate in the activities (meetings, training, matches, competitions, etc.) related to the team he/she belongs to (attendance is monitored by the Sports Coordinator, attendance reports are given by the Coordinator), must continue the game success, performance and disciplined work of the team he/she belongs to, and must not be banned from participating in the matches by receiving disciplinary punishment.
The scholarships of students who lose the necessary conditions for the scholarship during the academic period they are on scholarship will expire.
6. SIBLING SCHOLARSHIP
It is a scholarship given to sister students studying at the faculty and college of our university.
A scholarship of 5% of the tuition fee is given to the sibling who registered last.
Except for one of the siblings graduating, one of the siblings is affiliated with the University for any reason.
If the support is interrupted, the scholarship ends.
7. MARTYR/VETERAN CHILD SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is given to the children of Turkish Armed Forces and Police officers who were martyred, and other individuals who hold a certificate of martyrdom.
Children of martyrs who enroll in our university's programs benefit from this scholarship. Students who qualify for this scholarship are exempt from all tuition fees.
This scholarship is given to the children of Turkish Armed Forces and Police officers who were veterans, and other individuals who hold a certificate of veteran status.
Children of veterans who enroll in our university's programs benefit from this scholarship. Students who qualify for this scholarship receive a 10% discount on their tuition fees.
8. AGREEMENT INSTITUTION SCHOLARSHIP
This is a discount given to employees and members of institutions that have a protocol with our university.
A discount is applied at the rate determined in the protocol.
9. FACULTY SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is awarded to the children of faculty members currently working full-time as professors, associate professors, assistant professors, and lecturers at another university.
The scholarship covers 10% of the tuition fee in the paid category and 5% in the reduced category.
10. STAFF SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is awarded to all full-time (academic or administrative) staff members and their immediate family members enrolled in our university's associate/bachelor's/master's programs.
All full-time (academic or administrative) staff members and their immediate family members accepted and enrolled in our university's associate/bachelor's/master's programs receive a scholarship covering 50% of the tuition fee.
The scholarship terminates if the academic or administrative staff member leaves their position at the university for any reason.
