Scholarship Opportunities

1. SYM SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is awarded to students who enroll in programs designated as "scholarship" programs within the quotas and conditions specified in the SYM Higher Education Programs and Quotas Guide.
The scholarship and discount in question are non-refundable and are applied by waiving 100%, 75%, 50%, or 25% of the total tuition fee. It does not impose any additional financial burden on the student. Undergraduate students placed in undergraduate programs within scholarship quotas based on the YKS exam results will be exempt from tuition fees at the scholarship rate for 16 semesters, including the Preparatory Program period, and students directly starting undergraduate programs or enrolling in Turkish-medium departments will be exempt from tuition fees for 14 semesters, regardless of course or academic achievement requirements. Students enrolled in undergraduate programs with scholarships and later transferring within the university will be exempt from tuition fees for 16 semesters, at the scholarship rate. Scholarships for students who change majors will continue at the same rate as the scholarship they enrolled in.

2. DGS SCHOLARSHIP
Students placed in undergraduate programs with 100% scholarships or 75%, 50%, or 25% discounted quotas based on their DGS exam results will be exempt from tuition fees at scholarship or discount rates for the duration of their English preparatory education. Students directly entering undergraduate programs will be exempt from tuition fees for a maximum of 14 semesters, regardless of coursework or academic achievement.
Scholarship or discount periods are calculated starting from the semester in which the student is placed (for example, the legal scholarship or discount period for a student placed in the 3rd semester is 12 semesters for a student directly entering undergraduate programs, and 12 semesters for English preparatory education). (This includes a preparatory education period for students who will be studying abroad.)

3. PREFERENCE SCHOLARSHIP
Students who choose our university as their first choice based on their YKS exam results may receive a discount at a rate determined annually by the Board of Trustees.

4. ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is awarded based on undergraduate and pre-degree academic success. It is awarded to all students who meet the criteria. No application is required. Academic Achievement Scholarship criteria are determined annually by the Board of Trustees upon Senate recommendation. Academic Achievement Scholarships are available to full-tuition students enrolled in undergraduate and pre-graduate programs through the YKS exam, as well as students with 50%, Horizontal Transfer, and Vertical Transfer Scholarships. Students with a GPA of 3.90-4.00 in all courses taken in the last academic year in their enrolled program are exempt from the full tuition fee. Students with a GPA of 3.70-3.89 Students receive a scholarship worth 50% of their tuition fees.
Students with a GPA of 3.50-3.69 receive a scholarship worth 25% of their tuition fees.
Students enrolled in undergraduate/undergraduate programs can apply for the Academic Achievement Scholarship. However, students with full scholarships, English preparatory class students, pre-degree and undergraduate students, summer school students, and students who have completed the regular program's education period are not eligible for the scholarship.
For irregular students, the average of all courses taken at the end of the spring semester of the year in which they complete their third term is taken into account.
For AP students, only the major course load is considered for the Academic Achievement Scholarship. and GPA are taken into account.
The Academic Achievement Scholarship is awarded to students who have not received disciplinary action.
The Achievement Scholarship is valid only for one academic year in the academic year in which the student receives the scholarship.
Students who receive the Academic Achievement Scholarship are entitled to receive the scholarship during the normal period of study in subsequent years if they meet the requirements determined by the Board of Trustees.
The Academic Achievement Scholarship does not include summer school.
The Academic Achievement Scholarship is awarded upon actual attendance at the university.
Temporary withdrawal during the academic year in which the scholarship is to be paid out is not a condition for continuing education. Scholarships will not be awarded in cases of suspension, registration cancellation, or internal or inter-institutional transfer.

5. ATHLETE SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is awarded to national athletes in branches determined by the Turkish University Sports Federation.
Those wishing to benefit from the Sports ScholarshipAll national and international level work, success, degree etc. in the branches of the enciler. They submit the information and documents in a file to the Sports Coordinator.
The awarding of a Sports Scholarship is contingent upon the student's academic success, primarily their participation on the university team in their field, and their representation of the university.
For the scholarship to continue, students must attend the required activities (meetings, training, matches, competitions, etc.) related to their team (attendance is monitored by the Sports Coordinator, and attendance reports are submitted to the Coordinator), maintain their success, performance, and disciplined practices on their team, and not be barred from participating in matches due to disciplinary action.
Scholarships will terminate for students who lose the required scholarship requirements during their academic term.

6. SIBLING SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is awarded to siblings studying at our university's faculty or college.
A scholarship of 5% of the tuition fee of the last sibling to register is awarded.
The scholarship will terminate if one of the siblings withdraws from the university for any reason, except for the sibling's graduation.

7. MARTYR - VETERAN CHILDREN SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is awarded to the children of martyred Turkish Armed Forces and Police officers, as well as other veterans' certificate holders.
Children of martyrs who enroll in our university's programs are eligible for this scholarship. Students who qualify for this scholarship are exempt from all tuition fees.
This scholarship is awarded to the children of veterans who enroll in our university's programs.
This scholarship is awarded to the children of veterans who enroll in our university's programs. Students who qualify for this scholarship will receive a 10% scholarship towards their tuition fees.

8. AGREED INSTITUTION SCHOLARSHIP
This is a discount offered to employees and members of institutions that have a protocol with our university.
The discount is given at the rate specified in the protocol.

9. TEACHING MEMBER SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is awarded to the children of faculty members who are currently working as full-time professors, associate professors, assistant professors, or lecturers at another university.
The scholarship is awarded at a rate of 10% of the tuition fee in the paid category and 5% of the tuition fee in the reduced category.

10. STAFF SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is awarded to all full-time (academic or administrative) staff and their first-degree relatives working at our university in our associate, undergraduate, or graduate programs.
All full-time (academic or administrative) staff and their first-degree relatives working at our university who are accepted and registered for our associate, undergraduate, or graduate programs are awarded a scholarship worth 50% of their tuition fees.

Academic or administrative staff who, for any reason, are unable to continue their studies at our university If the student resigns from his/her duty, the scholarship will end.
