Biosensor Laboratory
Ankara Science University Biosensor Laboratory is a research laboratory working on various biosensor technologies. Our laboratory is equipped with various instruments and carries out important projects.
Ongoing projects:
TÜBİTAK - 3501 Career Development "Development of a Fluorescence-Based Nanocomposite Biosensor for the Detection of the Environmental Toxin Atrazine (ATZ)": This project is developing a fluorescence-based nanocomposite biosensor for the sensitive detection of the environmental toxin Atrazine (ATZ). The project is supported by TÜBİTAK. It is conducted by our university faculty, scholarship holders, and volunteer undergraduate students.
BAP - Scientific Research Project "Nanosensor Design for Cardiac Biomarker Detection": This project focuses on the design of a nanosensor used to detect biomarkers used in the early diagnosis of cardiovascular heart attack risk. In this project, supported by resources from Ankara University of Science, students in our laboratory are working on the development and optimization of nanosensors.
Our Equipment: Our laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and performs the analysis and characterization processes required for biosensor research.
