What is the 7+1 Model?
At Ankara Science University, the 7+1 model education system is implemented as a concrete step in university-industry collaboration, enabling all our students to enter the business world upon graduation. To ensure that our students are developed into qualified personnel with the knowledge and practical skills to meet the expectations of the business world, a semester of their education is designed to include practical training in a company.
In the 7+1 Education Model, the department curricula are designed so that students spend 7 semesters in theoretical and practical courses at school and 1 semester working in companies for 14 weeks on a full-time basis (4 working days per week). According to the 7+1 Education Model, students will take theoretical and practical courses in a school environment in the first, second, and third grades, and in the second semester of the fourth grade, they will take workplace training courses in accordance with the Workplace Training Guidelines, in line with the academic calendar, for 14 weeks and full-time (4 working days per week).
