As the Department of English Translation and Interpreting, we aim to train qualified translators who are aware of the unifying power of language in today's world where science, technology, communication, and intercultural interaction are rapidly gaining importance. Our department provides our students with not only language-related knowledge and skills but also intercultural communication competence; and provides them with the opportunity to acquire the ethical responsibilities and necessary professional skills of translators in the age of science and technology. Hence, we aim to equip our students with the skills and abilities that will enable them to achieve success on national and international platforms.
