Dear Students and Prospective Applicants,
At the Department of English Translation and Interpretation, we aim to train qualified translators who recognise the unifying power of language in today's world, where science, technology, communication, and intercultural interaction are becoming increasingly important. In addition to providing students with linguistic knowledge and skills, our department gives them the opportunities to develop intercultural communication competence and an understanding of the ethical responsibilities of translators in the age of science and technology. We also help them acquire the necessary professional qualifications. In this way, we aim to equip our students with the abilities and competencies needed to succeed on national and international platforms. Accordingly, I hope to see you as a part of our department, and I wish you success in your academic life, which will lead you to new horizons.
