Microsoft 365 and Office Applications
Ankara Science University provides Microsoft 365 services to students, academic staff, and administrative personnel for use in education, research, and institutional activities.
Users can access Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and other Microsoft 365 applications included in their license using their corporate email accounts. These applications can be used through a web browser and, for users with an eligible license, can also be installed on Windows or macOS computers. Microsoft requires users to sign in with the work or school account assigned to them in order to download and activate the applications.

Downloading Microsoft 365 Applications
1. Open the Microsoft 365 applications page.
2. Sign in using your Ankara Science University corporate email address and password.
3. Click the “Install apps” option on the page.
4. Select “Microsoft 365 apps” and download the installation file.
5. Run the downloaded installation file and follow the on-screen instructions.
6. After installation is complete, open an Office application and sign in with your corporate account to activate your license.

The option to install desktop applications is displayed according to the Microsoft 365 license assigned to the user account.
Usage and Security
Corporate Microsoft 365 accounts and licenses are personal to each user. Usernames and passwords must not be shared with others, and users should sign out after completing their work on shared devices. If the user’s relationship with the University ends or the assigned license changes, access to and activation of installed applications may also change.
