MISSION
Our department's educational approach is founded on a critical perspective informed by diverse disciplines within the social and human sciences. Our department aims to introduce students to a broad intellectual landscape provided by diverse fields such as sociology, literature, political science, and philosophy, and aims to graduate future creative professionals and versatile scholars in the fields of communication and media. Our students graduating from the Department of Communication and Media will gain the ability to understand and analyze communication processes, apply the intellectual perspective they acquire in their professional lives, and be equipped to work in every aspect of the media and communications sector.
VISION
Ankara Science University's Department of New Media and Communication is committed to providing a qualified workforce in our country. Beyond meeting the needs, it sets out to train professionals who think on a universal level, direct studies in science and art, digital transformation and the future, think independently, adhere to professional ethics, and understand the role of new media and communication studies in social development.
