Utku Bozbaş,
New Media and Communication 3rd-year student:
Cultural and creative sectors are crucial for the continued development of societies and lie at the heart of the creative economy. These systems, knowledge-intensive and based on individual creativity and talent, create significant economic wealth. More importantly, they are critical for establishing a universal sense of global identity, culture, and values. In this respect, digitalization is central to this process, and the ability to understand and comprehend digitalized communication processes fosters the development of professional creativity. In this context, we can say that the New Media and Communication Department cultivates creative communicators.

Yaren Selek,
New Media and Communication 3rd-year student:
As a New Media and Communication student, I will never forget the excitement of first being accepted into this department. New Media and Communication is a department found only at Ankara Science University in Ankara, and I was a part of this department. Even when I first started researching the program, I was so attached to it that I knew from then on that I would be very happy in this school and department. And that's exactly what happened. New Media and Communication is a unique department that offers a wealth of experience in art and communication. By taking various courses, including communication, design, film, editing, and photography, you can develop yourself in all areas. In addition to theoretical courses, you'll have an experience where you can both learn and consolidate your interests with practical courses. All faculty members take individualized care of their students and offer them numerous opportunities to advance in their desired fields. As each semester passes, I find myself involuntarily saying the same thing: "I couldn't have studied anywhere else." Thanks to the Department of New Media and Communication at Ankara Science University, I've undertaken numerous projects that I can look back on with pride throughout my career, and I've met many dedicated faculty members who have always offered me their unwavering support. Understanding societies, analyzing them, creating target audiences, creating works for these audiences, experiencing different design methods, and doing all of this while having fun is the most rewarding and special way a student can improve themselves. And when I leave here with these experiences, I will feel equally experienced and special, yet equally bittersweet. I have endless gratitude to my department, my faculty, and my school for these years, during which I met so many valuable people, had the opportunity to make my own voice heard, created my own projects, and never felt alone. I am so happy that I was able to forget what loneliness is and instead learn what it means to feel lucky.
