Frequently Asked Questions

How can I find out how much my tuition fee is?
When will I have to pay the tuition fee?

Payments must be made between the new registration and registration renewal dates specified in the Academic Calendar announced by our university for each academic year.

What happens if I don't pay the tuition fee by the due date?

If payment is not made within the specified dates, your financial approval will not be granted by the system. Because you will not receive financial approval, you will not be able to select courses and will not be able to benefit from student rights for that semester.

Where and how do I pay the tuition fee?

You can make your payments via EFT/wire transfer to the bank accounts that Ankara Science University has an agreement with, or through online payment via Virtual POS at contracted bank branches using your Turkish Republic Identity Number. To suspend enrollment, a payment of 50% of the relevant semester's tuition fee is required.

Can I get a refund for the fee I paid to suspend my registration in the next semester?

No, fees paid for deferring enrollment are considered administrative fees for the period the student remains in inactive and are therefore non-refundable and will not be credited towards the tuition fee for the following semester.

Financial approval has not been granted, what should I do?

The absence of financial approval in the system indicates an unpaid balance for the current or previous periods. You need to contact the Financial Affairs Department after completing your payment.

Is the scholarship valid for summer school?

As a rule, ÖSYM scholarships and other discounts only cover the fall and spring (regular education) semesters. Summer school is subject to fees, and standard scholarships are not valid for summer school.

Can I make a payment from someone else's account?

Yes, you can. However, when making a bank transfer (EFT/Wire Transfer), you must write the student's Full Name and Turkish Republic Identity Number in the description section. Otherwise, it will not be possible to determine which student the payment belongs to.

Can I choose courses while I have debt?

No. Students who have not fulfilled their past or current financial obligations will have their OBS course selection screens closed due to lack of financial approval. Course selection will not be possible in the system until the relevant balance is settled.

What should be written in the description when making a bank transfer/EFT?

You can make your upfront and semester payments to our university's accounts via EFT or bank transfer. It is mandatory to write "Student Name and Surname, Turkish Republic ID Number and 2026-2027 Tuition Fee" in the description section during the transaction.

Does the upfront payment discount apply to installment payments?

The upfront payment discount applies only when the full annual tuition fee is paid in advance; it does not apply to semester payments.

Is the KMH account assigned to the student or the family?

During installment payment processes, banks define Credit Deposit Accounts (KMH). Opening a KMH account is entirely subject to the financial criteria and approval of the relevant bank. Due to the lack of regular income for students, banks generally do not consider opening a KMH account in their name (except in exceptional cases). Therefore, it is recommended that applications for installment payments be made by parents who have a regular income.

Can we send the payment to the IBAN number for cash or installment payments?

You can make your upfront and semester payments via EFT or bank transfer during the university registration process. However, we do not offer a system for sending tuition fees directly to university accounts in installments. For installment payments and other banking procedures, you can obtain services from our partner banks that will have stands on campus during the registration period.

Will banks be on site during registration?

During the registration period, our partner banks will have stands on campus to provide services. Additionally, for students who prefer to make cash payments, a mobile banking branch is available within the university grounds.
