Voluntary Internship Application Requirements

  • Be an actively enrolled associate or undergraduate student at Ankara Bilim University.
  • Maintain student status throughout the internship period.
  • Obtain an internship acceptance from the institution where the voluntary internship will be conducted.
  • Have the internship approved by the Department Chair and/or Internship Advisor.
  • Complete the Voluntary Internship Application and Acceptance Form in full.
  • Obtain all required signatures and approvals on the application documents.
  • Submit the complete application documents to the Human Resources Directorate at least two (2) weeks before the internship start date to ensure that Social Security (SGK) procedures can be completed on time.
  • Do not start the internship before the Social Security (SGK) Employment Entry Declaration has been issued.
  • The minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA/GNO) required for voluntary internship applications may vary depending on the faculty and department. Therefore, students are required to consult their academic advisor or department chair regarding the applicable GPA requirement before submitting their application.
  • Voluntary internship applications open on the first day of each calendar year and close on the Friday of the second week of June each year.
