Beyond simply knowing software, management information systems experts design and implement software to increase the efficiency of businesses and managers. The department's curriculum consists largely of IT courses, such as computer software, hardware, and computer networks. In addition, core business courses covering business and management functions, as well as courses such as IT law, train IT managers and designers. MIS also focuses on topics such as e-commerce, e-government, e-invoicing, business intelligence, and decision support systems that help managers make easier decisions.
Students in the Management Information Systems department explore all types of real or virtual systems. Students will learn how to connect and collaborate across different areas of work, transforming data acquired in the field of information and technology into knowledge that will assist people in decision-making processes. Students will be able to participate in the programming skills, project management, design, implementation, and testing phases, enabling them to effectively and efficiently generate and distribute information.
