The book Sürdürülebilirlik: Savunma Yönetiminde Yeni Paradigma (Sustainability: A New Paradigm in Defense Management), edited by Prof. Dr. Cem Harun MEYDAN, a faculty member of our Department of Management Information Systems, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kemal TOPCU, our Visiting Faculty Member, has been published by Ankara Science University Press.
The book explores various dimensions of sustainability and defense management and includes scientific contributions from our academics. In addition to serving as editors, Prof. Dr. Cem Harun MEYDAN and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kemal TOPCU contributed to the first chapter, titled “Sürdürülebilirlik: Temel Kavramlar ve Yaklaşımlar” (Sustainability: Basic Concepts and Approaches).
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuğrul OĞUZHAN, an academic at our university, authored Chapter 14, titled “Sosyal Sürdürülebilirlik ve Savunma Yönetimi” (Social Sustainability and Defense Management), while Assist. Prof. Dr. M. Alper AKDEMİR, a faculty member of our department, contributed to Chapter 13, titled “Savunma Sanayiinde Karbon Ayak İzi Azaltımı” (Carbon Footprint Reduction in the Defense Industry).
