As the Web Design and Coding Program, we recognize that internships are one of the most important stages where theoretical education meets professional practice. We attach great importance to the internship process, as it enables our students to enhance their professional competencies, become familiar with contemporary work environments, and gain first-hand insight into the expectations of the industry.
Mandatory Internship:
As part of our curriculum, students are required to complete workplace-based practical training (internship) in order to graduate. Internships are organized in accordance with the academic calendar and the regulations of the program.
Internship Institutions:
Our students have the opportunity to complete internships in a wide variety of organizations operating in the fields of web technologies and information technology. Major internship opportunities include:
- Private Sector: Software and IT companies, e-commerce businesses, digital media organizations, corporate IT and software development departments, companies providing web-based services, and technology startups.
- Public Institutions: Ministries, municipalities, universities, and the IT, software development, web management, and digital content departments of public institutions.
- Technoparks and R&D Centers: Companies and startups developing web applications, responsive systems, digital platforms, and innovative software projects.
Learning Outcomes During the Internship:
Throughout the internship, students develop professional discipline, teamwork, project management, communication skills, and a strong sense of professional responsibility. They also have the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge of web design, user interface development, web programming, database management, content management systems, testing, deployment, and maintenance processes in real-world projects.
Career Opportunities:
Thanks to the strong collaborations between our program and the industry, students often have the opportunity to secure full-time employment or part-time positions at the organizations where they complete their internships after graduation. The internship is not only a mandatory component of the curriculum but also an important gateway to a successful professional career.
