The Aircraft Technology Program is a two-year associate degree program aimed at training qualified technical personnel who can work in the maintenance, repair, assembly, system control, technical inspection, and production processes of aircraft used in the civil aviation sector. The program provides education in line with a quality approach and service philosophy that meets the expectations of the modern age, ensuring students acquire the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies that comply with national and international standards of the aviation sector.
The Aircraft Technology Program includes current and application-oriented courses in areas such as aircraft fuselage and engine systems, aircraft electricity and electronics, maintenance and repair practices, aviation safety, materials science, technical drawing, and aviation regulations. The aviation sector is a strategic field that is constantly growing and requires qualified technical personnel. Graduates of the Aircraft Technology Program can find career opportunities in many sectors, primarily in the following areas:
Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Organizations: Graduates can work in aircraft maintenance organizations (MRO) authorized by civil aviation authorities, performing maintenance, repair, and inspection processes for aircraft fuselages, engines, mechanical systems, and avionics.
Airline Companies: They can work in the technical maintenance units of airline companies, performing periodic maintenance, fault detection, technical inspection, and maintenance planning processes for aircraft.
Aviation and Defense Industry: Graduates can work in companies that manufacture aircraft and air vehicles, performing assembly, production, quality control, system integration, testing, and technical support tasks.
Airports and Ground Handling Services: They can work in technical service organizations operating at airports, performing apron operations, technical support, equipment maintenance, and aircraft preparation processes.
Production and Quality Control: They can find employment opportunities in production planning, quality assurance, quality control, and technical documentation in companies that produce parts for the aviation sector.
Public Institutions and Military Organizations: Graduates, provided they meet the necessary requirements, can work as technical personnel in public institutions, military maintenance centers, and defense industry organizations.
Research and Development (R&D): They can participate in projects focusing on new aircraft systems, maintenance technologies, and production methods in research centers, universities, and private sector R&D units aimed at developing aviation technologies.
Thanks to the theoretical knowledge and practical training they acquire, program graduates have a wide range of employment opportunities as qualified technical personnel needed in the civil aviation, defense industry, and aviation manufacturing sectors.
Yes. Our students complete a 30-day summer internship at the end of their second semester.
Attendance is mandatory at 70% for theoretical classes and 80% for practical classes.
