Work Study and Production Laboratory
The Work Study and Production Laboratory is an educational infrastructure designed to reinforce the theoretical knowledge gained in Industrial Engineering courses in a practical environment. The laboratory conducts studies on work study, time study, motion study, work measurement, method development, line balancing, and basic production planning applications. Students have the opportunity to analyze processes by examining different production scenarios, evaluate factors affecting efficiency, and develop improvement suggestions. In addition, various simulations and applied studies are conducted to help them better understand the functioning of production systems. The laboratory contributes to the development of teamwork, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills, while supporting students in being better prepared for real production processes they may encounter in their professional lives. Besides course applications, it also provides a suitable learning and research environment for graduation projects, academic research, and studies conducted within the scope of industry collaborations.
