III. International Creative and Critical Thinking Congress (YED)

Ankara Science University, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, is organizing the Creative and Critical Thinking Congress, which we have been holding at the national level for two years, as an international event for the third year.

With the aim of discussing the importance of creative and critical thinking in shaping our future and developing new ways, we are organizing this congress for the third year, bringing together the fine arts, engineering, architecture, social and humanities...

We are excited to announce a dynamic and interdisciplinary event that aims to bring together academics, researchers, educators, and experts from all fields of science. In the post-truth age, where critical and creative thinking has become more "critical" than ever, developments in digital technologies, while opening the door to an infinite universe, also make it imperative to critically question the accuracy and reliability of the vast amount of information circulating. A democratic society requires the existence of individuals who understand their environment, take different perspectives into account, and can think critically and creatively about artistic, social, political, and economic issues. Critical thinking, as a driving force for social transformation, enables us to recognize problems and produce innovative solutions. The 3rd International Creative and Critical Thinking Congress will be held face-to-face at Ankara Science University Maltepe Campus on May 9-10, 2024. The congress has a double-blind peer-review process and meets the academic incentive and associate professorship criteria. Participants can present oral presentations and posters in English or Turkish. The congress will provide a platform that encourages interdisciplinary dialogues.
