As of the 2023-2024 academic year, a one-term mandatory internship is required as part of the second semester of the fourth grade. The internship period is calculated based on the 14-week Spring Academic Calendar, consisting of four days per week, for a total of 56 working days. A portion of this period may include internships abroad, provided that it does not exceed seven weeks. Internships may be undertaken in public or private institutions and organizations. Various internship opportunities may be offered in institutions such as the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Family and Social Policies, the Ministry of Justice, prisons, probation institutions, child protection institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Family and Social Policies, nursing homes, and other affiliated units, or in private companies.
