Aviation is not just a technical field consisting of aircraft and pilots; it is a massive global industry worth billions of dollars, extending from airlines and huge airports to global logistics networks, ground handling services, catering chains, and financial risk management. Ankara Science University's Aviation Management Department was established to train visionary and leading management candidates who will successfully manage the operational, strategic, and financial processes of this dynamic and constantly growing sector.
Our department's interdisciplinary curriculum blends the fundamental principles of business and management sciences with the specific dynamics of the aviation sector. Our students are equipped with a wide range of courses including aviation economics, airport planning and management, airline marketing, supply chain and logistics, aviation law, and safety and security management systems. Throughout the education process, data analytics, crisis simulations, and digital transformation trends are emphasized to ensure that our students become modern managers capable of making data-driven and strategic decisions. To be admitted to the Aviation Management department, students must meet the requirements set by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (SHGM). The specific requirements mentioned in the YKS (University Entrance Examination) preference guide should be reviewed.
The Aviation Management Department at Ankara Science University offers its students a strong academic faculty, as well as seminars, case studies, and internship programs that provide direct interaction with industry professionals. Students who meet the application requirements for the pilot program can receive free PPL (Private Pilot License) theoretical training as an elective during their undergraduate studies, and then, if they wish, can proceed to flight training. Flight training is subject to a fee.
