Department of Film Design and Direction
The Department of Film Design and Direction at Ankara Science University embraces the philosophy of providing a good education to a small number of students. The department aims to cultivate competent individuals with aesthetic sensitivity who can develop their creative powers and intuition, and who can conduct research, discovery, application, testing, monitoring, and conclusion processes using artistic and scientific methods. Through classes taught entirely in English and equipped with the latest technical facilities, we aim to develop exemplary students who will best represent themselves, their schools, and their cultures in every environment.
Students who complete their training in the Film Design and Direction Program will be able to create projects and undertake various roles in areas such as film, television series, documentaries, video art, music videos, commercials, news and magazine programs, and promotional films, and will become proficient in the theoretical principles underlying all of this education.
