Internship Opportunities

As the Electronic Technology Program, we are aware that the most critical point where theoretical education meets professional life is the internship. We attach great importance to the internship process in order for our students to increase their professional competencies and learn the dynamics of business life on-site.

Compulsory Internship: In our curriculum, there is a mandatory practical training (internship) requirement for our students to graduate. These internships are planned for at least 30 working days, usually during the summer period.

Institutions Where Internship Can Be Done: Our students have the opportunity to do internships in a wide range of fields. The main areas and institutions where internships can be carried out are:

  • Private Sector: R&D, Production, Quality Control, and Maintenance-Repair departments of companies in white goods, defense industry, automotive, information technologies, communication, medical devices, energy, and automation.

  • Public Institutions: Ministry of Transport, PTT (Postal Service), State Airports, relevant technical units of municipalities, and university laboratories.

  • Technoparks and R&D Centers: Companies and start-ups where innovative projects are developed.

Gains During the Internship Process: During the internship, our students gain work discipline, teamwork skills, project management experience, and professional responsibility awareness. In addition, they gain experience by applying the theoretical knowledge they have learned (e.g., microcontroller programming, power electronics, PCB design) in real projects.

Career Opportunities: Thanks to our program's close cooperation with the industry, our students often have the advantage of finding a job or starting part-time work after graduation at the companies where they complete their internships. The internship is, in many ways, a gateway to employment for our students.
