This project, supported by TÜBİTAK 2209-A and supervised by Dr. Assistant Professor Sema Yurduşen, is led by team leader Beyzanur Albayrak, along with team members Gülbetül Koçak and Abdullah Yorulmaz. The project aims to investigate the quality of online sexual harassment and family communication patterns experienced by female players in digital games, as well as the impact of these experiences on expressing emotions. The project will be conducted between March 22, 2024, and March 22, 2025.

This project, supported by TUBITAK 2209-A and carried out under the supervision of Dr. Faculty Member Sema YURDUŞEN, aims to investigate the “Effect of the level of social exclusion experienced by Turkmen immigrant women who have lost their husbands on social adaptation, psychological resilience and psychological well-being” between 22.03.2024 - 22.03.2025, together with team leader Merve ALKILINÇ and teammates Sena AYDOĞAN and Damla İŞERİ, students of Ankara Bilim University.
Playing Like a Girl": A Qualitative Examination of the Invisibility of Female Gamers in the Gaming World and Their In-Game Confidence and Performance

Supported by TÜBİTAK 2209-A and conducted under the supervision of Associate Professor Sema YURDUŞEN this project will be carried out between March 22, 2024, and March 22, 2025, in collaboration with team members Aleyna SALMAN, Ennur KARAKUŞ, and Dilbeste ERDOĞAN, who are students at Ankara Bilim University. This study aims to investigate the extent of the negative effects of certain player behaviors, such as "trash talk" (insulting remarks made to undermine others' morale) and verbal sexual harassment, on the self-confidence and gaming performance of female gamers in online games. It is expected that female gamers who are subjected to these behaviors will experience a decrease in their confidence in online games and negative effects on their performance in these games.
