Biosensors Laboratory
Ankara Bilim University Biosensor Laboratory is a research laboratory on various biosensor technologies. In our laboratory, essential projects are carried out, and it is equipped with multiple devices.
Projects in progress:
TÜBİTAK - 3501 Career Development "Development of a Fluorescent-Based Nano-composite Biosensor for the Detection of Environmental Toxin Atrazine (ATZ): In this project, a fluorescent-based nano-composite biosensor is being developed for the sensitive detection of Atrazine (ATZ), an environmental toxin. TUBITAK supports the project. It is run by academicians of our university, scholarship, and volunteer undergraduate students.
BAP - Scientific Research Project "Nano-sensor Design for Cardiac Biomarker Detection": This project focuses on the nano-sensor design for detecting the biomarker to diagnose cardiovascular heart attack risk early. In this project, supported by the resources of Ankara Bilim University, students in our laboratory are working on developing and optimizing nano-sensors.
Our devices: Our laboratory has state-of-the-art machines and performs the analysis and characterization processes required for biosensor research.
