Internship Opportunities
As the Computer-Aided Design and Animation Program, we are aware that the internship is the most critical point where theoretical and applied education meets professional life. We place great importance on the internship process so that our students can enhance their professional competencies, learn the dynamics of creative industries on-site, and build a strong portfolio prior to graduation.
Compulsory Internship
In our program curriculum, workplace practical training (Internship) is mandatory for students to graduate. These internships are planned to last at least 30 working days, scheduled to take place during the summer period at the end of the second semester.
Potential Internship Institutions
Our students have the opportunity to intern across a wide range of fields in the creative and digital sectors. Primary fields and institutions for internship include:
-
Agencies and Production Studios: Full-service advertising agencies, digital media and communication agencies, film/video production companies, motion graphics, and visual effects (VFX) studios.
-
Game and Animation Companies: 2D/3D animation studios, mobile and PC game development companies, concept design, and character modeling workshops.
-
Corporate Companies and Digital Publishing: Corporate Communication, Design, and Digital Marketing departments of national and international brands; e-commerce companies, newspapers, magazines, and digital publishing organizations.
-
Public Institutions and Media Organizations: TRT (Turkish Radio and Television Corporation), press-publishing and graphic/design units of public institutions, IT and corporate communication departments of universities.
-
Technoparks and R&D / Design Centers: Incubation centers, digital media, virtual reality (VR/AR), and design-oriented start-ups located in technoparks.
Gains During the Internship Process
Throughout the internship, our students gain work discipline, time management skills, awareness of producing designs according to client expectations, and teamwork ethics. Furthermore, they gain professional experience by applying the theoretical and practical knowledge learned in courses (2D/3D design, modeling, editing, and animation techniques using software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Blender, etc.) in real production processes.
Career Opportunities
Thanks to our program's strong ties and collaboration with the sector, our students can find part-time work opportunities in the institutions where they intern even before graduating, or secure full-time employment after graduation. The internship serves as a direct gateway for our students to build a professional network and take their first steps into their careers.
