What is the 7+1 Model?

With the 7+1 model education system implemented at Ankara Bilim University as a concrete step of university-industry cooperation, all our students are brought into the business world at graduation. In order to ensure that our students are trained as qualified personnel with knowledge and application skills that will meet the expectations of the business world, one semester of education is organized as practical training in business.

In the 7+1 Education Model, the department's curriculum was created so that students would study for seven terms in theoretical and practical courses at school and one term in enterprises for 16 weeks and full-time practice. According to the 7+1 Education Model, students will take the theoretical and practical courses in the first, second, and third grades in the school environment and the workplace education course in the 7th semester of the fourth grade in accordance with the Workplace Education Directive for 16 weeks and full time in accordance with the academic calendar.
