Health Requirements for the Department of Air Traffic Control

Candidates who are entitled to complete final registration for the Department of Air Traffic Control are required to submit a medical certificate that complies with the provisions of ICAO Annex 1 Class 3 and has been issued by a health institution authorized by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

The following condition regarding the Air Traffic Control Undergraduate Program is included in the section entitled “Conditions and Explanations for Higher Education Programs Included in Tables 3 and 4 (Part 2: Conditions)” of the 2026-YKS Higher Education Programs and Quotas Guide:

The qualifications required to practise the profession of AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL are as follows: 1) Obtaining a medical certificate that complies with the provisions of ICAO Annex 1 Class 3 from a health institution authorized by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. 2) Not having any Criminal Record or Archived Criminal Record that would prevent the issuance of an airport entry card.
