Student Lists for 2026–2027 Fall Term English Proficiency Exam First Stage

The first stage of the 2026–2027 Fall Term English Proficiency Exam will be administered on Monday, 7 September 2026, between 10:00 and 12:20. The exam room lists are attached.

The information of students newly registered at our university has been obtained through the Student Information System (SIS/ÖBS). Students whose student numbers are not included in the list may take the exam in Room C035.

Repeat students will take the exam in Rooms C017 and C018. If these rooms reach full capacity, students may take the exam in Room C055.

Please note the following important information regarding the exam:

  • No make-up exam will be offered for English Proficiency Exam. Students who do not attend or are unable to attend the exam will not be given another opportunity to take it.

  • Students are required to be present in their assigned exam halls at least 20 minutes before the start of the exam on Monday, 7 September 2026.

  • Students are responsible for bringing their student ID cards, pencils, erasers, and any other necessary stationery.

  • The use of smartphones, smartwatches, and any other electronic devices with internet access is strictly prohibited during the exam. Before the exam begins, students must place all electronic devices in the designated area within the exam hall.

  • The exam begins with the listening section. Students arriving late will be admitted only after the listening section has ended. Answers to listening questions provided by students who were not present during the listening section will be deemed invalid.

  • The exam regulations are printed on the back page of the exam booklet. Students are expected to comply with these regulations throughout the exam.

  • Any student who disrupts the exam, disturbs other students, or is found cheating will be removed from the exam, and an official report will be filed.

  • Before submitting your work, please ensure that your name, student number, and answers have been correctly marked on the optical answer sheet. The accurate completion of the optical answer sheet is the responsibility of the student.

  • At the end of the exam, all question booklets and optical answer sheets must be submitted. The reproduction of exam materials in either physical or digital form is strictly prohibited.

  • If a student is admitted to the exam by mistake, their result will be considered invalid.

  • Students in the Translation Department who score 70 or above in the first stage will be eligible to take the second-stage exams. Students from all other departments must score 45 or above in the first stage to qualify for the second-stage exams.

  • English Proficiency scores of the students are calculated after the second stage exams are concluded. Calculation percentages are attached. 

  • The rules outlined above apply to all students taking the exam.

  • In circumstances not covered by the provisions above, the decision of the exam supervisors and invigilators shall be final.
