Dear Students,
The dates for the 2025–2026 Fall Term Proficiency Exam are listed below. Exam lists will be annoumced on Friday, January 9, 2026.
Stage 1 (TEST): January 12, 2026, Monday, 10:00–12:00
Stage 2 (Writing): January 14, 2026, Wednesday, 10:30–11:30
Stage 3 (Speaking): January 15, 2026, Thursday, 10:30
Announcement of Results: January 16, 2026, Friday, 14:00
All students (A course, B course, Translation) who meet the following conditions can participate in the Preparatory Course Exemption Exam:
• Not exceeding the attendance limit (i.e., not failing due to absenteeism). • Having a semester grade point average of 45 or above. B course and Translation class students do not need to register. B course and Translation class students who do not take the Preparatory Course Exemption Exam will continue their education in the Preparatory School in the spring semester. Participation in the exam is optional for A course students; it is not mandatory. The scores you receive on the exam will not affect your semester average or course passing status. Regarding Old TEST Scores
Students who scored 45 or above on the Preparatory Course Exemption Exam TEST stage since their university registration date can use their old scores for the January 2026 Preparatory Course Exemption Exam. Students who wish to use their old TEST scores must enter their information via the provided link:
Students who wish to use their old scores can take the TEST stage in January. For students who score lower than their old score in January, the calculation will be based on their old score. For students whose new score is higher, the calculation will be based on the January exam.
