At Ankara Science University, we view our students not merely as individuals receiving education, but as young researchers and entrepreneurs who are curious, inquisitive, research-oriented, productive, designing, and bringing their ideas to life.
Throughout your university life, we believe it's important for you to go beyond acquiring academic knowledge; to identify problems in your areas of interest, develop research questions, generate original ideas, and transform these ideas into tangible results.
In line with this understanding, we award our students a "Young Researcher" Certificate.
We expect you to choose a research topic in line with your department and area of interest. It is important that your chosen topic has the potential to provide a solution to a current problem, contribute to our country and society, or develop a new perspective in your field.
The preliminary research you conduct on your chosen topic will be an important starting point for your academic journey, helping you formulate your research question and determine the direction of your work.
We expect you to submit your research topic to your academic advisor by October 21, 2026.
The selected research topics will be evaluated to guide our students in academic advising and research processes; the necessary resources will be provided for the development and support of research proposals deemed suitable and strong.
At Ankara Science University, we approach research culture together with an understanding of entrepreneurship and innovation. An idea, solution, or project that emerges during the research process can be transformed into a viable product, service, prototype, or venture with the right guidance and support.
The entrepreneurial dimension of this approach is embodied by the IdeaCoin Entrepreneurship Center.
The IdeaCoin Entrepreneurship Center operates to support the ideas of our students who have an innovative idea, a problem they want to solve, or a project they want to develop; and to contribute to the transformation of these ideas into initial prototypes, viable projects, and ventures.
Even if you only have an idea, you can apply to IdeaCoin. The fact that your idea is in its initial stages is not an obstacle. What matters is curiosity, recognizing a problem, producing a solution, and wanting to create something new.
IdeaCoin will support the development of successful ideas, guide our students through project development and prototyping phases, and provide opportunities for high-potential projects to connect with investors and relevant stakeholders.
Thus, at Ankara Science University, our students' academic and entrepreneurial journey begins with:
