Goals
As the Department of Industrial Engineering, our goal is to educate engineers who are aware of their professional and ethical responsibilities, adaptable to changing conditions, and equipped with analytical thinking, problem-solving, inquiry, and effective communication skills. Continuously improving education and training processes in line with current scientific developments and industry needs, increasing opportunities for applied training, and supporting students' research, project development, and innovation competencies are among our fundamental priorities. In addition, producing high-quality scientific research at national and international levels, developing university-industry collaborations, strengthening the research capacity of the academic staff, and increasing the international visibility of our department are also among our main objectives. Through all these efforts, we aim to become a respected Department of Industrial Engineering that continuously improves the quality of education, has high scientific productivity, and is preferred by its graduates.
