Ankara Science University, driven by a vision of science, technology, and innovation, has signed a comprehensive cooperation protocol with Wang Xingxing, founder, CEO, and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Unitree Robotics, one of the world's leading robotics companies. The signing ceremony, attended by Ankara Science University Rector Prof. Dr. Yavuz Demir and Unitree Robotics senior executives, opens a new era in university-industry collaboration.
This visionary protocol combines Ankara Science University's strong academic knowledge with Unitree Robotics' global industry and field experience. The agreement focuses on maximizing the institutions' R&D, innovation, and technology transfer capacity, developing joint projects to provide high added value to the national economy, and training qualified human resources to lead Türkiye's technological advancement.
A Comprehensive and Multifaceted Partnership
The protocol, which centers on the transformation of theoretical knowledge into practice, includes concrete steps across a wide range of areas. The main areas of activity under the agreement are:
National and International Projects: Development of joint R&D and product development projects for national and international funds supported by TÜBİTAK, the European Union (EU), and Development Agencies.
Student and Employment-Oriented Activities: Implementation of internship programs, co-op training, and applied training projects that will allow students to get to know the sector closely.
Academic and Technical Consultancy: Academic consultancy services to be provided to the company by university faculty members, and technical support processes to be transferred from the sector to the university.
Scientific and Cultural Events: Organizing joint seminars, conferences, workshops, and panels where innovations and technological developments in the sector will be discussed.
