The research article titled “Exploring Factors Influencing Smartwatch Adoption Intention Among Turkish Consumers: A Value-Based Approach,” authored by our faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Görkem Erdoğan, was published online on October 20, 2026, in the ESCI-indexed journal NMIMS Management Review.
The study examines consumers’ intention to adopt smartwatches in Türkiye through a value-based approach. Drawing on 350 valid responses from potential smartwatch users, the research explores the roles of perceived benefits, technicality, perceived fees, mobility, and design aesthetics in shaping consumer perceptions.
