Dear Students,
The results of the 2025–2026 Fall Term English Proficiency Exam are attached. Please note that the list is arranged according to student ID numbers and not according to total scores.
Students marked as PASS / BAŞARILI on the list will continue their education in their respective departments in the spring term.
Students marked as FAIL / BAŞARISIZ on the list will continue their education at the Preparatory School in the spring term.
The individual scores for the second-stage writing and speaking exams are not announced to students. Pass/fail status has been calculated based on the fall semester average and the results of the first and second stages of the exam, using the following weighting:
Fall semester average: 35%
First stage (Test): 25%
Second stage (Writing): 25%
Second stage (Speaking): 15%
Students have the right to submit an objection regarding their writing and speaking results. To do so, a written petition must be submitted to the Writing Affairs Office (Yazı İşleri).
Students who have successfully passed the exam but wish to continue their education at the Preparatory School voluntarily may apply to their faculties using the petition attached. For students who choose to continue voluntarily, there is no attendance requirement and no obligation to take exams. In addition, these students are not required to take the English Proficiency Exam at the end of the spring term.
