Ahmet M. Ateş earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA) at Karadeniz Technical University where he graduated magna cum laude from the Department of English Language and Literature in 2014. He also holds an associate’s degree from the Department of Computer Technologies and Programming at Gazi University where he graduated summa cum laude. He completed his Master of Arts (MA) in English Literature at Hacettepe University in 2022. His master's thesis is the first academic study of Algernon C. Swinburne’s poetic works at the graduate level in his department and Turkey. He has started his graduate studies as a doctoral student in the same department at Hacettepe University.

Ahmet M. Ateş worked in various educational institutions in Ankara including private colleges and language schools. He has been working as a lecturer at Ankara Bilim University, English Preparatory School since 2022. He also acts as the coordinator of the Preparatory School. His field of study is English literature, and his research interests are Victorian poetry, fantastic literature, utopian/dystopian literature, creative writing, and the implementation of artificial intelligence in social sciences and education. He strives to implement his analytical skills and critical approaches in different mediums of fiction such as novels, cinematic adaptations as well as nascent fanfiction genres.

Ahsen Beste Koçaker Yıldırım graduated from Hacettepe University in 2019 with a degree in English Language and Literature. The same year, while working as an English teacher at a private institution, she earned her Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) certificate. She completed her master’s in English Literature and Cultural Studies at Çankaya University in 2023. Between 2022 and 2023, she worked as an English Lecturer in the preparatory departments of the University of Turkish Aeronautical Association and OSTİM Technical University. From December 2023 onward, she has maintained her position at Ankara Bilim University.

Baran Eren Alagöz got his bachelor’s degree from the English Language and Literature Department at Hacettepe University in 2017 and completed his master’s thesis in English Literature and Cultural Studies Master’s program at Çankaya University in 2024. He worked as a part-time instructor at the Department of Foreign Languages in Hacettepe University in 2018 and University of Turkish Aeronautical Association from 2020 to 2024. His fields of interest are space studies, fantasy fiction, and poetry. Currently, he is working as an instructor in the Preparatory School at Ankara Bilim University.

Beyza Demirhan Karakaya graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature at Karabuk University in 2019. She received her Master's Degree from the Department of English Language and Literature at Karabuk University in 2023. She worked as an English Instructor at Warsaw Management University Preparation School in Poland for a while in 2022 as part of the Erasmus project. Since 2019, she has worked as an English Language Teacher at various levels in schools belonging to the Ministry of National Education in Turkey. Since 2023, she has been working as a lecturer at Ankara Bilim University Preparatory School. Her thesis is entitled “Examination of the Male Gaze in Angela Carter’s Bloody Chamber and Vladimir Nabokov’s Lolita”.  Her primary academic interests encompass 19th and 20th centuries English novel, literary theory and criticism, feminist theory, psychoanalytic theory and dystopia, English linguistics, eclectic approach in teaching and reflective teaching.

Beyzanur Mutioğlu Alabaş graduated from English Translation& Interpreting department of Hacettepe University in 2017. She received her MA degree from English Language Teaching department of Ufuk University in 2023. After completing her bachelor’s degree, she participated in European Voluntary Service (EVS), Erasmus+ Project by National Agency, and worked as a volunteer in Wroclaw, Poland for five months in 2017. She worked in a private college with young learners in 2018. From 2019 to 2023, she worked as a part-time instructor in the School of Foreign Languages of Hacettepe University. After receiving her master’s degree, she started working in English Preparatory School of Ankara Bilim University as a full-time instructor in 2023.

Bükte Akkoyunlu received her Bachelor’s Degree in English Linguistics from Hacettepe University in 2011. She also got her Pedagogical Formation Certificate from Hacettepe University in 2011. She completed her Master’s Degree in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language at Hacettepe University in 2019. Currently, she is a PhD student in the same department at the same university.

After graduation she worked as an English teacher at various language schools. In 2015, she started working at Ufuk University as an English instructor. In Ufuk University, she also worked as a unit member in the testing unit. She is a part of ABU Prep School since September 2024.

Canberk Çetin graduated from the English Language Teaching Department at Akdeniz University in 2022 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Educational Management at Gazi University. His research interests include education policies, school administration, and the history of education, with a particular focus on significant figures like Vedide Baha Pars, an influential woman in Turkish education history. He has also engaged in Erasmus+ projects in Austria and Greece, gaining insight into international educational practices. These experiences enrich his understanding of global education systems and contribute to his ongoing thesis work on Vedide Baha Pars.

Davut Zeki Kurt graduated from the Department of English Language Education at Ondokuz Mayıs University in 1989. He began his professional career as an English teacher at Samsun Anatolian High School in 1990, where he worked until 1998. During this time, he also taught in general English courses organized by the Ministry of National Education's In-Service Training Unit. Additionally, in 1993, he successfully completed the 261st English Language and Methodology Course (Teacher Trainer) offered by the Ministry of National Education.

Since 1997, Davut Zeki Kurt has taught English in various private schools and universities, including Samsun Final Schools, TED Kayseri College, Canik Başarı University, and Samsun Private Genç Adım High Schools. Between 2012 and 2016, he worked at Canik Başarı University as an English lecturer and coordinator of foreign instructors, while also serving as the English coordinator at the university’s Continuing Education Center.

Since 2021, he has been serving as an English instructor at the Preparatory School of Ankara Bilim University. Currently pursuing a master’s degree in ELT at the Institute of Social Sciences at Ufuk University. Davut Zeki Kurt has participated in numerous national and international seminars and courses on educational technologies, language teaching methodologies, and exam preparation processes.

He is proficient in using digital platforms such as MOODLE, Socrative, and Quizlet, and integrates them into his English teaching practice.

In 2011, Didem Dutlu Yazıcıol graduated from the undergraduate program in the Department of English Translation and Interpretation at Atılım University. In 2012, she graduated from Atılım University, Department of English International Relations, with a double major. Between 2015 and 2016, she received Pedagogical Formation in English Language Teaching. She received her Master's degree from the Political Science program at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University in 2018. Between 2017 and 2018, she worked as an English teacher at Bolu Public Education Center. She taught at Yüksek Ihtisas University between 2019 and 2020. Since 2020, she has been working as a lecturer at Ankara Bilim University English Preparatory School. She is also the English Preparatory School Exam Unit officer. Her doctoral studies continue at Middle East Technical University.

Ebru Şen graduated from Atatürk University with a BA in English Language and Literature. She holds English Language Teaching Certificate from Atatürk University. She earned her MA in English Language Teaching from İstanbul Medeniyet University. Before starting to work at Ankara Bilim University, she worked as an interpreter, English teacher and English lecturer at various institutions.

Ecem Varvil graduated from Başkent University, Faculty of Education, Department of English Teaching in 2018. She completed her master's degree from the department of the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at the University of Warwick, England, in 2020. She worked as a lecturer at the School of Foreign Languages at the University of Turkish Aeronautical Association between 2020-2023. In addition, she also worked as a teacher in various language schools. She has been working as a lecturer in the English Preparatory School of Ankara Bilim University since 2023 and as the assistant coordinator responsible for departmental English courses since July 2024.

Eda Nur Şahaner graduated as the valedictorian of the Faculty of Letters at Hacettepe University in 2017. In addition to her undergraduate degree in English Language and Literature, she completed a minor in Psychology with honours. During the 2016/17 academic year, she voluntarily provided information on TÜBİTAK scholarships at International Education Counselling Office of Hacettepe University. After graduation, she earned a Pedagogical Formation Certificate from Ankara University. Ms. Şahaner began her professional career as an interpreter at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Supported by a TUBITAK-BIDEB scholarship, she earned her M.A. degree in Interdisciplinary Migration Studies at Ankara University. Through the United Nations Volunteering Programme, she has been providing translation, proofreading, and editing services. Additionally, she has been a guest speaker at various career planning conferences organized by language departments. Currently, Ms. Şahaner serves as a lecturer at the Preparatory School of Ankara Science University. Her research interests include educational psychology, inclusivity and diversity in English language teaching (ELT), writing and editing, artificial intelligence, and fact-checking.

Ekin Şahin earned her B.A. in American Culture and Literature from Hacettepe University in 2020, followed by her M.A. in the same field in 2024. Her master’s thesis focused on Sherman Alexie’s exploration of different manifestations of literary realism and his portrayal of settler colonialism and historical trauma on Native American reservations in three of his selected works. Her academic interests include minority studies, ethnic literature, colonial, settler colonial and postcolonial studies, gender studies, as well as film studies. She has been an instructor at Ankara Bilim University since 2023-2024 academic year.

Elif Şeyma Serbes graduated from Gazi University English Language Teaching Department in 2019. In 2024, she completed her MA degree at Ufuk University English Language Teaching Department with a comprehensive thesis focusing on contextual factors affecting teacher-led learner autonomy initiatives. She is currently pursuing her PhD at Gazi University English Language Teaching Department. After teaching English at two prestigious private schools since 2019, she was appointed as a lecturer at Ankara Bilim University Preparatory School in 2024. 

Her academic interests include learner autonomy, use of technology in education, and other related areas. 

Ercan Arıcan obtained his Bachelor’s degree in American Culture and Literature at Hacettepe University in 2011, followed by a Master’s degree in Cultural Studies and Media at Hacettepe University in 2019. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences at Hacettepe University. His professional experience includes working as a lecturer at Başkent University from 2013 to 2019 and working as a lecturer at Ankara Science University since 2020.

After graduating from the English Language Teaching (ELT) Department at Gazi University, Hilal Ösken began her career in education at schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education. In 1997, she joined Hacettepe University as an English instructor. The following year, she was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to pursue her Master’s degree in Language Testing at Bilkent University, completing the MATEFL program. Her thesis, titled “An Assessment of the Validity of the Midterms and End-of-Course Tests Administered at Hacettepe University, Department of Basic English” showcased her expertise in testing practices. In 2000, she was selected by the British Council Türkiye to attend a specialized course at the University of Reading’s Centre for Applied Language Studies, focusing on language testing and test development. Throughout her career, she served as an academic coordinator and tester in Hacettepe University’s Department of Basic English until her retirement. Since 2022, she has continued her work as an English instructor and has taken on a role in the Testing Office, further contributing to the field of language education.

İrem Ece Temel, earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in American Culture and Literature department at Bilkent University in 2017. After that, she got pedagogical formation certificate from the Faculty of Education at Gazi University in 2018. She also earned her Master’s of Arts degree in English Culture and Literature department of Atılım University in 2023.Throughout her career, she gained experience in teaching English to both adults and young learners. Since the fall semester of 2024, she has been teaching at Preparatory School of Ankara Science University.

Merve Erol graduated from Bursa Uludag University’s English Language Teaching Department in 2019. In 2021, she began her master’s studies in the same department, with a focus on the role of artificial intelligence in writing education. She is currently writing her thesis, which examines the effect of AI on students’ writing strategies. Her academic interests include language acquisition, educational technology, and the integration of AI in English language teaching. She is dedicated to advancing research in these fields to improve learning outcomes and enhance teaching methodologies. 

Natallia Kozlu holds a Bachelor's degree in Modern Foreign Languages from Minsk State Linguistics University and a Master's degree in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language from Dokuz Eylül University. She has experience as a freelance translator and as an English language teacher in Belarus. In 2023-2024, she worked part-time as an English Language Instructor at Gazi University. Natallia has also completed DELTA Modules 1 and 2, which are part of an internationally recognized teaching qualification from Cambridge English. 

Özgün Ataman graduated from Ege University, the department of English Language and Literature in 2013. In 2022, she completed her MA degree at Hacettepe University, the department of English Language and Literature. Currently, she is doing her PhD at Hacettepe University. In 2015, she received her CELTA at International House, İzmir and started to work at Yaşar University, School of Foreign Languages in 2015 as a part-time English Lecturer. In 2018, she became a member of Testing and Assessment Unit. In 2021, she started to work at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University as a Research Assistant. In 2024, she moved to Ankara and started to work at Ankara Bilim University as an English Lecturer. Also, she is a member of Curriculum and Materials Development Unit. Her research interests are contemporary British drama, gender studies, gothic fiction, and postcolonial studies. 

Roya Mohammadi, completed my master degree in English Language Teaching in Tabriz university in Iran (2013).  Hee master thesis was on “The Effect of Metacognitive Strategy Training on Improving EFL Learners’ Listening Performance across Intermediate and Advanced Proficiency Levels”. To learn more about the world of teaching and to deepen my knowledge of it, she got TESOL diploma ‘Level 7 Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages’ in 2019 and DELTA module two diploma in ‘Teaching English Language to Speakers of other Languages’ by Cambridge Assessment English in 2021. To guide learners to practise and boost their confidence in all four areas of the IELTS test, she got her certificate in teaching IELTS by Westminster College London in 2020. She started teaching English as a foreign language and a second language in high school in 2005 and continued my career as a lecturer at university. 

Sanam Monfared earned her Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from a public university in Iran in 2009. She subsequently moved to Türkiye, where she pursued a Master’s degree in International Economics at Gazi University, completing her studies in 2015. Following her graduation, she gained extensive experience teaching at various language institutions and private schools. In 2018, Sanam Monfared obtained CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), further enhancing her qualifications with Delta Module 2 (Level 7 diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) in 2021. She is currently in her fifth year of teaching at Preparatory School at Ankara Bilim University, having worked part-time for four years and now continuing in a full-time position.

Selin Gürpınar earned her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature department at TOBB Economy and Technology University in 2018. After that, she got her pedagogical formation certificate in 2019. She also accomplished her second B.A. from Anadolu University International Relations program (Open Education) in 2020. Her Master of Arts (M.A.) degree is from Hacettepe University Curriculum and Instruction department in 2023. Throughout the academic education, she has gained experience in teaching English to young learners and adults in private school and courses. She has been an instructor at Ankara Bilim University since 2023-2024 academic year.

Semra Gül holds a BA in English Language and Literature from Bilkent University and an MA in English Language Teaching from Yeditepe University, where she completed a thesis titled An Overview of Master’s Study as a Professional Development Route: Motivations and Perceived Impact. She also earned a teaching certification in English as a Second Language from Istanbul University.

With over 15 years of teaching experience, Semra has worked with learners of various ages and levels in diverse educational settings. She began her career in private K-12 schools, teaching pre-school, primary, and secondary students. Since 2020, she has worked as an instructor at Ankara Bilim University.

A dedicated educator, Semra is deeply committed to her professional growth. She has actively participated in numerous professional development activities, including conferences, workshops, and Delta courses.
