The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences covers the branches of science that are within the basic field of social and humanities and which aim to better understand and explain people and society.
Studies in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences are carried out at the group, organization, social culture and intercultural levels, starting from the individual level. In this context, understanding individuals and groups is important in terms of grasping the reflections of emotional and behavioral processes that depend on various variables on the organization and society.
Managerial processes in organizations and information technologies that serve these processes also have an impact on individual behavior as an environmental variable. For this reason, developing and managing information systems and understanding the administrative processes they serve are of great importance for today’s businesses.
Information systems, on the one hand, create a bridge between businesses and businesses, on the other hand, increase the interaction between cultures. Increasingly interacting societies and the transition between social cultures necessitates the existence of individuals who can translate between languages, have a developed worldview, are knowledgeable, professionally and culturally equipped. In this context, with the Psychology, Management Information Systems and Translation and Interpretation departments within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences; It is aimed to train individuals who can understand people, manage information by improving their informatics infrastructure, and ensure intercultural transition. At the same time, it is aimed that our students will be able to follow change with their academic equipment, do research, think freely with a scientific point of view, have intellectual accumulation, and use knowledge and technology in line with the needs of society.
