The color codes to be taken into consideration by our students during course registration and advisor approvals are as follows:
Blue Courses (Must Be Selected): These are common courses and sections that all students in that grade are obliged to select without exception.
White Courses (Choice): These are courses left to the students' own preferences, with the right to choose a section.
Pink or Orange Courses (Package Selection): These are two different weekly schedules that are alternatives to each other. Students must select either only the courses in the pink-colored sections or only the courses in the orange-colored sections. (Whichever color is chosen, all courses in that group must be selected; the two groups must not be mixed.)
Finally, all elective and compulsory courses opened in your departments are shown in the course schedules found in the link below. If elective courses do not appear in ÖBS, you should select them from outside the curriculum.
