Engineering is a creative application area that realizes bridges, roads, vehicles, buildings, machines, electronic devices, software applications and systems and projects in which they are used together, designs and develops facilities and methods that will realize the most economical, reliable and efficient production of engineering products. While performing engineering applications, it is the most important engineering principle to fulfill the desired function under every working condition while protecting human life, environment and public health and safety. Computer Electronics and Computer Software have been at the center of all engineering studies since the 1940s and have been at the center of all engineering studies, such as computer games, Internet TV and radio broadcasts, newspapers, social media, e-commerce and banking, e-government applications. new applications are always available with smart phones and portable computers. Computer and Electronic technologies are now used by all engineering fields both as an aid during system / product design and to bring smart and rich functions to products.
The Faculty of Engineering of Ankara Bilim University was established on the basis of the Computer, Electrical and Industrial Engineering departments, where the fastest and most intense developments have been experienced in the recent past and today, and which require ever-increasing numbers of engineers equipped with modern engineering skills. The language of instruction at our university is English so that our students can learn their professions from the most up-to-date and rich resources, directly follow the extremely fast technological developments of the current century and work with full competence in international engineering teams. Our students will learn basic sciences such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as well as their own engineering fields, and will complete their vocational education and training by working in scientific R&D projects with our faculty members. Thus, by gaining research and product development skills, they will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to take important roles in the major projects of our country that will come to the fore in the near future.
The main purpose of our university is that our students become world citizens, protect the environment, society and humanity at every stage of their personal and teamwork, improve the quality of life of society and individuals, and fulfill their professions in accordance with ethical and scientific values for life.
In order to meet the needs of researchers and scientists in our country, our young engineers should be encouraged to do their master’s and doctoral studies and reach a level that can solve very complex and interdisciplinary engineering problems. It is vital for our country to reach the level of being sought after and preferred in international markets with the engineering products and services developed by reaching the level of the most advanced countries in technology in the international competitive environment in which our country is involved with all countries of the world, and to maintain this level by continuous development. In the past and today, well-trained engineers with high professional and personal ethical values, constantly renewing and developing themselves, competing at the international level have been one of the most valuable and sought-after resources of our country, and will continue to be so in the future.
